Standing on a Corner um 1950

Originally built in 1890 as the Dagg Mercantile building, the owner, William H. Dagg ran his business for over 30 years.  During the Great Depression of the 1930's, the Dagg Mercantile closed.  Winslow Drug under the control of Fred Robinson and Walgreens later used the building.  After Walgreens closed, the Catch Pin Western Wear store occupied the building.  On January 11, 1992, the vacant building burned and was cleared to eventually create the Standing on a Corner park.  The building next to the park burned in 2004, and the park was expanded to include both sides of the famous mural on the wall, featuring inspiration from the Eagles song "Take It Easy".
