Now look at this beautiful fountain: the basin has been carved out of a single block of rock, just like all fountains of this era in front of our widely branched family’s properties.
We, the foresighted Blankenhorns, acquired well-drilling rights and laid water pipes to our estates early on, since running water has always been a pillar of wealth.
