The demolished synagogue 1968
After the Crystal Night of 9/10 November 1938, the devastated synagogue was left to itself. The Jewish community had ceased to exist, 14 people had been displaced and murdered.
The many Stolpersteine - memorial “stumbling blocks” - along Hauptstraße between numbers 137 and 121 commemorate this dark period of town history.
