What Müllheim has always had was a flourishing gastronomy, as can be seen in the former cluster of representative restaurants around Martin’s Church.
On these old depictions, we can see the two restaurants “Schwanen” and “Ochsen” that were both built in the early eighteenth century. Neither still exists.
