House Schäberle um 1920
This house is the oldest still existing house in the city of Calw.
Built of stone around 1500, it survived both city destructions in the 17th century more or less unscathed. It was mostly used as a residential building. In the 19th century it housed a butcher's shop.In 1863 the hatter Christoph Heinrich Schäberle acquired the stone house on the market.
